There are many opportunities for parents, grandparents and loved ones to become involved in Glenfeliz Elementary.
Committees and Organziations
- Friends of Glenfeliz, our booster club, raises funds and plans activities for the entire student body, including art contests, festivals, movie nights, staff appreciation events, auctions, and dinners.
- Advisory Committees (SSC/ELAC) help form decisions on budget, instruction, safety and schoolwide events.
Volunteering
We are happy to welcome loved ones and community members to our campus for assemblies, presentations and volunteering in classrooms. If you would like to volunteer, start at https://volunteerapp.lausd.net. Requirements for on-campus volunteers are current TB tests, uploaded Covid vaccinations to the Daily Pass, administrative screening, and approval from the Parent Community Services Branch.
